Swipecard readers for internal or external use

The main flexibility of a swipe-card access system is that individual users can be added into the system and deleted from it easily by the system administrator. This means that lost or broken cards and cards of people who have left a company/building can be effortlessly deleted from the system.

Card access systems allow many users to be controlled through a variety of internal & external doors. For example, you may wish that management have access to all card controlled doors on a site and that staff only have access to main entry and exit doors on the site - our systems give you this flexibility.

Our swipe card systems help to control access through security doors with up to 500 magnetic swipe cards on any one system.

The system has a 12V DC supply with battery back up. Shadow cards supplied for easy card erasure and a function card for programming. The reader includes a red and green LED to indicate the lock release status. Each user card is supplied with a matching shadow card and a signature strip is provided on both cards to enable the name of the user to be recorded.
